Honorable mention for the first Dead Kennedys single.  The original lyrics for California Über Alles were written by John Greenway and performed by The Healers on February 9, 1978 on the CU campus in Boulder with Eric Boucher (later, Jello Biafra) on vocals.  Biafra later modified the lyrics and set them to music to become one of Dead Kennedys earliest and best known songs.
