COMMENT: Bombay Gin was the literary journal for the Naropa Institute's Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics. Both Allen Ginsberg and Ken Kesey attended, though Kesey, apparently not appreciating the entertainment, sat outside in his car the entire evening. Connie Clit (Profalactics) exhorted the audience to "follow your leader and dance." Allen Ginsberg took exception to the comment and later told Connie, "My dear young lady, you have very bad karma."
