The Nerves, Ravers & Front above the old Wax Trax location on Ogden
May 13-14, 1977
This is the earliest flyer that I'm aware of for any "punk" show in Colorado, and it is about one month after the Ramones first gig at Ebbets Field -- alas, there were no flyers made for that one. The Ravers started playing in the summer of 1976, and the Front in one form or another (with a different name) since 1975.
The Nerves "25th Anniversary" 10" released in 2001 on Penniman Records has a photo of the Nerves
on the front cover standing outside of the old Wax Trax location on Ogden Street. A local who attended dubbed them the
"Leisure Suit 3" presumably for their exquisite threads and fine grooming.
